About the event
How do we build an Aotearoa where people, particularly Māori, are no longer affected by the impacts of institutional racism, where whānau and communities are empowered, and where the justice system focuses on healing and restoration? Achieving this requires building an Aotearoa without prisons.
Join us at 6pm on Thursday 25th May at Te Pokapū Hapori in Te Whanganui-a-Tara for a kōrero on how we might do this. Hosted by the Social Change Collective, this event explores this vision and discusses some actions we can take as individuals, whānau, and communities, to get us there.
