Empowering Changemakers – Auckland Launch

In mid-April, we kicked off our very first Empowering Changemakers event in Tāmaki Makaurau. An inspiring evening that marked the beginning of an exciting new series. Hosted at GRIDAKL, the night began with an interactive workshop exploring personal leadership, theories of change, and the issues our community feels most passionate about. Guests shared their visions, placed stickers on key causes, and reflected on where they can create real impact. We then officially launched the Empowering Changemakers series, outlining our kaupapa and inviting others to get involved in shaping what’s next. The evening wrapped with energetic networking and kōrero, sparking new connections and celebrating local changemakers in the lead-up, from climate activists to social entrepreneurs. This was just the beginning, more events are coming soon!
